Seeking a Senior Fundraiser

We are seeking to contract with an experienced senior fundraiser to sustainably grow Karuna USA’s funding; increasing our donor file size and building a portfolio of different funding sources.

They will lead in helping Karuna USA to meet its 2022-23 fundraised target of $160k.

We envisage that in the first 12 months this role will be focused on solicitations to major donors, trusts and foundations. 

We are looking for an experienced Fundraiser with :

• Significant knowledge, expertise, and credibility as a fundraiser, with experience of having worked across different causes.

• A proven track record of fundraising from diverse donor sources including major donors, trusts & foundations, and marketing.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to inspire confidence and enthusiasm among donors, partners, and diverse stakeholders.

• Experience of working in start-up contexts and iteratively growing donor strategy, files and fundraising programs from a low base.

The person taking this role will be expected to have direct experience, or a positive and supportive view, of Team Based Right Livelihood (TBRL) and be willing to work with other team members in establishing a vibrant culture of TBRL in Karuna USA.
